The importance of studying Media Studies is that it allows people to better understand the culture behind media platforms, as well as the impact or relationship media has with us. It will help you with communication and technology skills needed to succeed in the future. My favorite media product is social media, such as, Tiktok and Instagram. I use them both for entertainment and sometimes for education. It's engaging for someone in my age group because they're platforms where we can meet new people, stay in touch with friends, and to watch our favorite influencers. In Media Studies I find the types of it, the skills it can give you, and its history.
On my blog, I will be documenting an opening film. I haven't got into what I want my film to be about, but I know I'm creating this for my teacher, Ms. Vincent and Cambridge. To create my film, I need to learn about camera angles, study movies and shows to inspire and teaches me things about my craft and watch tutorials on filmmaking. My film will be released when all editing and touch ups are done.
A skill I would need to use to create my film is to learn how to write a script planning what I want my film to be about. Also, maybe do some test runs and shots for the film. These will help me be successful in completing Component 1 blog with a high score because they will prepare me to know what to do and what to say to pass Component 1. T
